Directions: From Afton, Wyoming, head north on US Highway 89 for approximately 33.1 miles, then continue on US Highway 26 for approximately 2.1 miles. Turn right onto Forest Rd 021. Trail is east of Palisades Reservoir.

This hike is rated moderately difficult due to its length. The trail itself is easy to walk on. The trail goes through forested mountains. Views include Indian Creek and a beautiful lake basin area. It is recommended to hike this trail in April through October. Trail is great for ATV’s and biking. Activities to take advantage of nearby include swimming, camping, and backpacking.

Covid19 Requirements: As long as government regulations permit, the public trail system is still open for use. Masks should be used in areas where 6 feet of distance cannot be maintained between individuals. Extra care should be taken when using public facilities, including (but not limited to) bathrooms, public handrails, picnic areas, etc. The use of sanitation wipes and hand sanitizer is encouraged.
